For a thorough clean, the cap can be washed in the dishwasher (on a low temperature, without bleach) or in the washing machine (at 30°C on a gentle cycle, without fabric softener). When drying, it should be air-dried and kept in shape. Hair shampoo or vinegar can help with sweat and hair gel stains. Pilling can be removed with a fabric shaver.
