Founder Chris Thielicke launched the first NEBELKIND Rec. Cap in 2012 – now a timeless bestseller and a true evergreen.
2014 – The Collection that defined NEBELKIND’s DNA
Year after year, NEBELKIND expanded its range, but the 2014 collection left a lasting impression. Models like the Berlin Snapback, Classy Snapback, and Insane became absolute bestsellers and are now indispensable in the streetwear scene.
2015 – The Beanie Arrival
With the introduction of NEBELKIND Beanies, the success story continued. These stylish winter accessories have long since ceased to be a side product and have become the perfect complement for anyone who wants to stay stylish in the cold season.
2016 to 2018 – The Brand Grows & Strong Partnerships Form
NEBELKIND had already made a name for itself. In 2016, a groundbreaking retail partnership with MS SPIRIT HANDELS GmbH & Co. KG, an owner-operated e-commerce company from Austria, followed. Alongside its own collections, exclusive collaborations with well-known partners like Ankerkraut, the DJ duo Anstandslos & Durchgeknallt, and the marine conservation organization Ozeankind e.V. were formed – a fusion of style and sustainable commitment.
2018 to 2020 – The Breakthrough in the Snapback Market
These years marked a milestone for NEBELKIND: the breakthrough in the snapback market was achieved! With iconic designs like Pixel I, Barbed Wire, and Shorty, the brand set new standards. The colors became bolder, the styles more daring – and with the legendary Winkekatze Cap in bright green, NEBELKIND reached a bit of cult status. From then on, it was clear: We are not just a brand – we are the SNAPBACK SOCIETY!
2020 to 2023 – Creativity Against the Crisis
The pandemic brought challenges, but NEBELKIND did not stop. In 2022, the label presented its largest and most colorful collection to date. Caps like Miami, Teal, and Ballin proved impressively that streetwear doesn’t always have to be gray!
2024 – A Turning Point for the Brand
The year 2024 was a turning point: Founder Chris Thielicke, now a family man, wanted to further develop his brand and expand internationally. But for him, it was clear – NEBELKIND belongs in good hands. Instead of selling to a large fashion corporation, he chose a trusted partner: MS SPIRIT HANDELS GmbH & Co. KG. The next big step: Moving to Vienna.
2025 – NEBELKIND’s DNA Lives On
With the new collection featuring Japan Cyber Punk, FOG Green, Pixel 3, and a stylish Kids Cap line, NEBELKIND proves once again what it stands for: The perfect snapback cap.
