The shape of the brim plays a crucial role in choosing your cap. There are many different types, which we explain in detail in our cap guide. At NEBELKIND, we deliberately use a minimal curve for our snapbacks – known in technical terms as a flat brim. This flat design gives the cap a distinctive look and ensures a perfect fit. Despite the slight curvature, the straight style remains intact. For certain models, such as the NEBELKIND Society Black, we also use the sandwich method: This creates a color contrast between the top and underside of the brim – a stylish detail with a unique touch.

The crown makes the difference! There are many types of snapback caps with different crown heights and panel numbers. We primarily use a 6-panel design with a structured shape to ensure a stable and reinforced hold at the front. This way, the cap fits perfectly on the head, provides optimal support, and highlights the motif or patch perfectly. Depending on the material used, it varies in firmness – sometimes softer, sometimes firmer, but always with perfect wearing comfort.

6 cm is perfect! The brim length is often debated – should it be long or short? NEBELKIND believes the golden middle is the best choice. With 6 cm, we offer a well-balanced length, while the market also provides both longer and shorter options. We deliberately maintain a consistent brim length across our caps – except for the Shorty model. After all, the length of the brim is a distinctive design element that defines the character of each cap.

The visor is one of the most important elements of a cap. You only notice the quality after several washes and extended wear. NEBELKIND relies on a durable synthetic inlay that maintains its shape over time and guarantees the desired curvature. While many conventional visors lose their stability over time, NEBELKIND's inlay remains firm and resilient. This ensures that the cap retains its perfect shape and remains a reliable companion – whether in everyday life or during special moments.

For all our caps, we rely on so-called One Size or One Size Fits All (OSFA) closures. Our adjustable snapback closures are deliberately robust and monochrome. The reason is simple: the cap’s color design should take center stage, while the closure remains purely functional.
Why is an adjustable cap or ONE SIZE so important to us? There are days when you want to wear your cap more loosely and moments when it should fit snugly. Thanks to its flexible fit, the cap adapts to any situation and ensures optimal comfort – whether in everyday life or on special occasions.

NEBELKIND relies on several main materials – for a good reason. Our goal is to always combine the best quality with the right style. We produce pure cotton caps, high-quality water-repellent nylon caps, polyester caps, and blends of cotton and polyester. Each material has pros and cons. The biggest differences can be seen, for example, between cotton, nylon, and polyester: Nylon is more durable, water-resistant, and has a slight sheen, while cotton caps offer a particularly soft and comfortable feel. Polyester, on the other hand, is stiffer than both nylon and cotton, making the cap more structured and maintaining a better shape. NEBELKIND's collections are diverse, ensuring that every snapback wearer has a wide selection to choose from.

Care is important, yet a NEBELKIND cap must be quick and easy to clean. Due to the different materials used, there are various cleaning methods. The good news: all our caps can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees. For the best care, we recommend using a special cap washer to maintain the shape and material.
